High Availability (HARC)

High Availability - Installation and Configuration

UCx High Availability Replicated Configuration (HARC) is a software feature that creates UCx server redundancy in a cluster of two colocated UCX instances designated as Active and Standby.

High Availability - Web-based Configuration Utility

When the High Availability cluster is enabled, always access the Web-based Configuration Utility via the configured Cluster IP address.

High Availability - System Level Programming

When the High Availability cluster is enabled, devices (including third party peripherals) and applications must communicate with the Web-based Configuration Utility via the configured Cluster IP address.

High Availability - Operation and Recovery

Behavior of all the components of the UCX when operating in a High Availability cluster configuration is heavily dependent on the network topology and capabilities of the individual devices (particularly 3rd party) connected to it.
