VSP601
Introduction
The VTech VSP601 Cordless Handset can be registered to the VTech VSP600 Base Station or any ErisTerminal SIP Desksets with built-in DECT 6.0 support (VSP725, VSP726, VSP735, VSP736).
You can register one VSP601 DECT cordless handset to a ErisTerminal SIP Deskset. When a deskset has a cordless accessory, the deskset and handset are all part of the same extension, and only one device can be used at a time.

Configuration
WARNING: E-MetroTel has been successful in creating interoperability with the referenced phone using our open SIP Standards implementation. E-MetroTel is not responsible for maintaining interoperability support should the manufacturer modify the behavior of their SIP implementation in subsequent releases.
STEP ONE: Registration
For handset registration with the VSP600 Base Station, see VSP600.
The following procedure is to register the VSP601 with a ErisTerminal SIP Deskset that supports pairing with the DECT handset.
STEP TWO: From the Cordless Handset
- From the handset, select Menu
- From the Main Menu, select User settings
- Select Registration
- Select Handset
- The handset screen displays some instructions, just proceed to select NEXT
STEP THREE: From the Deskset
- From the deskset, select Menu
- From the Main Menu,select User settings
- Select DECT Handset
- Select Register
- The screen displays Registering... while it searches for the handset
STEP FOUR: From the Cordless Handset
- Press the # sign
- The screen displays Please wait...
When registration completes, the handset displays Handset Registered, while the deskset displays Registration succeeded.
