Ring Type

This feature allows the user to select the ring type to be used by the phone.

This feature is available to E-MetroTel XStim and InfinityOne phones and Nortel phones only.

To select the Ring Type

Phone Type Steps Notes
E-MetroTel (XStim or InfinintyOne) or Nortel phone with Feature key

1. Press the Feature key followed by the feature code *6.
2. Use the Up and/or Down soft keys or digits 0 to 7 to select the desired ring type.
3. Press the Enter key.

  
E-MetroTel (XStim or InfinintyOne) or  Nortel phone with Services key 1. When idle, press the Services key and use the navigation keys to scroll down to Ring Type.
2. Invoke the feature.
3. Use the Up and/or Down soft keys or digits 0 to 7 to select the desired ring type.
4. Press the Enter key.
