InfinityOne - Add your phone
Overview
Assigning an extension number to your profile allows others to see your phone presence and the ability to click and call you. it also allows you to click and call other users.
You can assign more than one extension to your profile, as long as the extension(s) have been authorized by the administrator. The extension can belong to any phone type including SIP, Nortel, XSTIM or Softphone (WebRTC).
Browser/Desktop Interface
To add phone extensions to your account:
- Click on the account box (top left where your username and avatar are shown)
- Select My Account
- Select Phone
-
Click New Extension.
-
Start typing the Extension Number in the Number field and select from the list of Allowed Extensions then choose Work, Mobile, or Home from the Label drop-down menu. (You will only be allowed to select from extensions pre-determined by your Administrator.)
- Add any additional extensions by clicking New Extension
- Click the SAVE CHANGES button
Note that if you Hotdesk your softphone to another extension, that extension is automatically configured for Presence and Click to Call. When you un-register the Hotdesked extension, the extension will be removed from the Presence and Click to Call.
