Infinity SIP - Customizing Phone Display Screen

There are many different configuration options for the phone screen and key labels.

Labels

Key Label Length

The default key label length supports up to 6 characters. If longer labels are desired, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Function Keys -> Line Key page
  2. Change the field Line Label Length to:
    • Default - supports up to 6 characters
    • Medium Label - supports up to 15 characters
    • Long Label - supports up to 22 characters
  3. Click on SaveSet button

Key Label Scroll

There is also the option to enable scrolling for the key labels.
If the label text is longer than the selected label length, then perform the following steps to enable scrolling:

  1. Navigate to Setting -> Preference page
  2. Change the field Label Scroll to Enable
  3. Click on SaveSet button

Key Label Alignment

By default, all key labels on the phone are left aligned. If you prefer keys on the right side of the phone to be right aligned, then perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Function Keys -> Line Key page
  2. Change the field Line Align Mode to Symmetry
  3. Click on SaveSet button

Account Label

The top right corner of the phone display screen provides a permanent label display supporting up to 9 characters.
To update the label, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Account -> Basic page
  2. Enter the desired text in the Label field

Display Text

There are 3 settings that control the text displayed on the phone's LCD screen. Navigate to Setting -> Preference page:

  • LCD Language - Select the desired language from the drop-down list. Soft keys and system notifications will be displayed in the selected language. The default is English.
  • LCD Font Size - Select from the drop-down list Normal or Large, all text displayed on the screen including labels will be affected.
  • CallID Font Size - Select from the drop-down list:
    • Auto - CallID font size will depend on the LCD Font Size selected.
    • Large - CallID font size will always be large.

Note: If LCD Font Size is Large, the number of displayed characters for the labels will be reduced.

Background Display

To protect and preserve the LCD screen display, the phone's backlight is automatically turned OFF between the hours of 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM if the phone has been idle for over 30 minutes. The screen will return to its configured mode at 7:00 AM.

Wallpaper

Users can change the background wallpaper displayed on the screen by choosing from the list of available built-in wallpapers or upload their own.

To change the background wallpaper:

  1. Navigate to Setting -> Preference page
  2. Scroll down to the Wallpaper field, select from the drop-down list
  3. Click the SaveSet button

To upload your own wallpaper:

  1. Under Upload Wallpaper section, click Choose File and select the desired JPG or PNG file.
  2. Click on Upload Photo button.
  3. When the upload is complete, go to Wallpaper field and the newly uploaded wallpaper will be available for selection in the drop-down list.

To delete a wallpaper:

  1. In the Delete Wallpaper field, select the desired wallpaper from the drop-down list and click on the Delete button.

Screen Saver

Users can configure the screen display timeout period and select the preferred screen saver mode.

To change the timeout period:

  1. Navigate to Setting -> Preference page.
  2. Update the following fields:
    • Screen Time Out - Select from the drop-down list the desired timeout period or Off to disable screen saver for the phone.
    • Expansion screen saver time -  Select from the drop-down list the desired timeout period or Off to disable screen saver for the expansion modules.
  3. Click on SaveSet button.

To change the screensaver type:

  1. In the ScreenSaver Type field, select the type from the drop-down list.
    • If choosing type time & logo, fill in the Text Logo field.
  2. Click the SaveSet button.

To upload your own screensaver photo:

  1. In the Upload Screen Photo field, click Choose File and select the desired JPG or BMP file.
  2. Click on Upload Photo button.
  3. When the upload is complete, go to ScreenSaver Type field and the newly uploaded photo will be available for selection in the drop-down list.

To delete a screensaver photo:

  1. In the ScreenSaver Photo field, select the desired photo from the drop-down list and click on the Delete button.

The following table shows the supported resolution for screen saver and wallpaper images.
