Galaxy FXS Gateway

Overview

The Galaxy FXS is the gateway that connects analog telephones, faxes and traditional analog voice interfaces to your UCx Server. The gateway comes in a 4-port or 8-port configuration.

If the Gateway is connecting to a UCx Cloud Server, you just need the following additional settings:

  1. Ensure NAT is set to Yes for the UCx extension. (see Section 1.)
  2. Ensure NAT is set to Yes on the System Parameter page of the FXS Gateway. (see Section 2.4.)
  3. Ensure NAT settings on the UCx SIP Settings page is set to Static IP and Auto Configure is applied. (see section 3.)

Click the Save button to save the changes.

Note that if the Network Mode setting in the Network / Local Network settings page of the Galaxy Gateway is set to Route then the SIP Server Address used above must be reachable from the WAN interface of the Gateway; if set to Bridge mode then the SIP Server Address must be reachable from the LAN interface of the Galaxy gateway.
