Introduction

Mitel's 5304 IP Phone is a cost-effective entry-level, two-line, dual-port IP phone with a 40-character backlit display that supports both SIP and MiNet protocols.

Steps to Convert to SIP protocol

To put the 5304 IP phone in SIP mode:

1. Unplug the power to the phone. 
2. Press and hold both the * and 7 keys at the same time.
3. While holding the 2 keys, plug the power back on.  
4. When the display shows “Mode Change to SIP?”, just follow the prompts. 
5. It will reboot and come up in SIP mode
